His characters, like Matt Foley, the motivational speaker, and Tommy Callahan, the dim-witted security guard, were instantly iconic.
Farley's humor was often self-deprecating and physical, but it was always funny. He had a gift for making people laugh, even when he was making fun of himself. His death was a huge loss for the comedy world, but his legacy continues to live on. His films and television shows are still enjoyed by millions of people around the world.
