In a move that has been widely anticipated, FC Bayern Munich and FC Bologna have agreed on the transfer of Joshua Zirkzee. The deal finalizes the departure of the 21-year-old striker, who had been a subject of speculation in recent weeks.

Zirkzee joined Bayern from Feyenoord in 2017 and has graduated through the club's youth system. He made his senior debut for the Bavarians in 2019 and has since gone on to make 24 appearances for the club, scoring four goals.

However, Zirkzee has found himself down the pecking order at Bayern, behind the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Müller, and Serge Gnabry. Consequently, he sought a move away from the club in search of regular playing time.
