The Dallas Mavericks have clinched a spot in the NBA playoffs after defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves 124-103 on Tuesday night. Luka Dončić led the way for the Mavericks with 33 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 assists. Kristaps Porziņģis added 25 points and 10 rebounds, while Tim Hardaway Jr. chipped in with 20 points.

The Mavericks got off to a hot start, taking a 35-20 lead after the first quarter. They continued to build their lead in the second quarter, and took a 62-45 lead into the half. The Timberwolves came out with more energy in the third quarter, but the Mavericks were able to hold on to their lead. They eventually pulled away in the fourth quarter, thanks to some timely shooting from Dončić and Porziņģis.

The Mavericks will now face the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the playoffs. The series is scheduled to begin on Saturday, August 20.
