$7 Million Grant to Fund Construction of Advanced Manufacturing and Logistics Center

Northwest Mississippi Community College (NWCC) has been awarded a $7 million federal grant to construct a new Advanced Manufacturing and Logistics Center. The grant was awarded by the U.S. Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration (EDA).

Grant Will Fund Construction of New Advanced Manufacturing and Logistics Center

The new center will provide training and workforce development programs in advanced manufacturing and logistics, and will also house a business incubator and accelerator.

The center is expected to create 500 new jobs and train 1,000 workers over the next five years.

The center is expected to open in 2024.
